This is a beautiful park with great facilities and lots to do. There is camping, backpacking, hiking, geocaching, swimming, boating, water skiing, scuba diving and fishing. Most campsites have good spacing from neighbors and some shade. There is lots of interesting geology. There is a food trailer and grocery store, as well as canoe, kayak, and pedal boat rentals. Wonderful park! The lake is not very big, but is pretty much constant level. The trees are lovely, and Devil's Waterhole is pretty awesome. The place gets crazy crowded, so make reservations way in advance.

Staff here is incompetent and are ignorant. I blame their park managers and the state of texas. The automated system is broke and hangs up on you when you answer their questions. I am a veteran and have my pass for the entire state but because of the parks syst... read more

Wonderful park. Fun kayaking lake. Hiking is fun not hard. Great place to stay to see the wildflower trails around the area. Clean new bathhouses.

We loved Ink Lake. Camped in an RV right on the water for NYE. Facilities were updated and clean. Can’t wait to come back in the summer.
