Wonderful park and wonderful staff. We stayed in a Cabin Sunday through Tuesday night's and left Wednesday. We rented a kayak and visited the park store a few times. My family was able to get in some hiking and visited Longhorn Caverns. We can't wait to go back.
We were at the lake today wanting to go fishing and learn the lake a little. I have to say this was the best experience I have had with the rangers of any Texas park I have been to. Not to say other parks were not ok but these folks were extremely polite , friendly and informative. They actually made us feel great about their park and the lake. Only caught one little bass but saw many more on the electronics. We will be back for sure. Thanks To all the rangers and TPW employees today.
Been going to Inks Lake since I was a kid and it never disappoints. Just returned from a four day trip with my family and friends. We had 4 RVs and we had a blast. Kids love the devil watering hole. Thanks for more great memories. We will be back again and again and again.
Called my son & told him they would love it. Beautiful State Park, look forward to coming back.
My family has always loved Inks Lake State Park. It is one of the best recreational State parks in Texas. It offers everything. It is very clean and well kept!!!
Beautiful state park, the ranger was very helpful, and there were quite a few "sandy" low spots for toddlers to walk into & swim. As much as I liked this park, our experience was ruined when we got out of the water and our feet were covered in leeches. Very traumatizing and unfortunately, we will not be back.
The trails are awesome and quite the exercise. It was a nice get away from the city I would love to go again with friends and family
