Terrible customer service and rude servers. The bathrooms were disgusting and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months.
Came here on 4th of July. Service took forever. Never got served my sandwich while rest of table ate. They did nothing to offer to help. Poor representative of Philadelphia. Don't eat here!
Great outdoor space and a wonderful view of Independence National Historic Park. Unfortunately, they blare the music so loud you can't carry on a conversation. Why not have ONE semi-quiet area? Beer gardens should be a place for socializing, NOT shouting! As for the slow service, this is their third year. They should have worked this out by now.
Prime time and liquor bar takes forever. Losing out on so much profit. Watching bartender spill out all the head on the Yards pitcher fix the pressure simple. Loss of money. Waited for 25 minutes at liquor bar still no service. Walked away. Back at liquor bar waited another 20 min. Leaving now. Waste of time
Me and my sister came to Independence beer garden for the first time and we're pretty disappointed. The menu and alcohol selection was very limited, service was slow (was not a busy time of day), and the food we did decide on not only didn't taste good but took forever to come out. The food my sister ordered took at least 20 minutes to come out the server apologized and offered a free alcoholic drink, which we did not take. For any people that wish to complain , remember it's an outdoor beer garden across the street from Philly's biggest tourist attraction . Great beer , good good and can you tell me where the restrooms are a great place to spend time ? Great place to go on a Tuesday afternoon !
So much fun & totally affordable. Will def be back!
