Spectacular!!!! – Everything about my time at Incanto was wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful, but has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The wine was delicious, and the food was prepared perfectly with fresh herbs and other wonderful flavors. I cannot say enough nice things about Incanto. I highly recommend it!!!
Poor Value--Overpriced for "Just OK" – Couldn't wait to try this new restaurant in my 'hood based on the user reviews I read. In short, I shouldn't have to pay $75 for dinner for two for bland food and spotty service. Hostess was very friendly but server was M.I.A. for the latter half of the meal. Both the branzino (bass) and porchetta (pork belly--which was tough and chewy) lacked any flavor. Had to ask for seasonings. Dessert (panna cotta) was very good but also very small (2 bites!). Great food! Great Wines! – Kept meaning to stop by this restaurant located in my 'hood and finally did one Friday evening. Found out that they won the Best Wine List in America for the casual dining category. Pretty impressive for a neighborhood joint. The food, like the wine list, was just as impressive. I'll definitely come back.
Why the negative hype...? – Valentine's Day was perfect. Not only did we have a wonderful server, but the food was outstanding. My honey, the seafood connoisseur, claimed Incanto's sea bass was the best he's ever had. Our server was purely delightful in his knowledge of their mostly foreign wine list. Always Enjoyable – I've visited at least a half dozen times, and can always count on an enjoyable experience from beginning to end. The food is obviously prepared with attention and care. Service is exceptional, especially when it comes to help with choosing wine. And the recently added tapestries are perfect, making the main dining room feel even warmer, while helping to soften the noise when the room is full. I've enjoyed the changes with the seasons and look forward to the menu's transition to Spring.
Relaxing experience – Beautiful decor, nice people, good food... more californian than authentic italian thou.. The wine list is impressive. I'll definitely return to this place!
Even better than the first time! – I've been to Incanto a number of times and am always pleasantly surprised at the constant improvements to the menu. Our table shared the penne for our primo (don't know who wrote about the uncooked penne but they obviously don't know the concept of al dente) and it was cooked to perfection. I then ordered duck for my secondo and was equally satisfied. As usual, the wines that accompanied our dishes were outstanding.
Great place!! – Went to dinner there with some friends and had a wonderful time! I had the duck leg with pears on a bed of cabbage that was so scrumptious I almost wanted another serving. The atmosphere is elegant yet so comfortable, we lost track of time and stayed for hours. Our server had the wonderful qualities of being both pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall a terrific experience!
What a find!!! – I got there a little early and decided to wait for my friends at the bar. I was greeted by the bartender with a warm smile and was soon discussing the merits of their intriguing wines by the glass list.
