Don't Believe the Hype – Il Posto has all of the arrogance and bravado of a high end eatery. However, the food and service do not back up their asinine attitude. I have had better service at Denny?s. BEST RESTAURANT IN DENVER – Amazing experience, I m from Italy the real one and I usually have hard time to have Italian food in Denver, grazie a Dio, il posto is here. Risotto made to order, not even in Italy do that anymore, great service, when I got in I told them that I need to be out quickly because me and my wife we have a movie to go to, when we left the Hostess told us ?enjoy your movie!? they were really packed and she remember that, I call that detail. IF THE EURO PROHIBITS EUROPEAN TRAVEL GO TO IL POSTO – I HAVE BEEN IN THIS RESTARAUNT TWICE NOW AND EACH TIME TOOK ME TO MEMORIES OF ITALY. Decent food does NOT outweigh the bad service. – My husband and I did our homework on Citysearch and read about Il Posto before dining there last Thursday. We walked in to see many empty tables after 8pm and were told by the hostess that while we did not have reservations she 'might' be able to fit us in. Whatever. We choose to sit on the patio. Don't believe the one stars!!!!!!!! – I think the one star reviewers on here own the resturant next store. First of all the menu is on the wall GET OVER IT!! If you can't see the menu then you shouldn't be driving the car that took you there!!! It was loud? What does that mean?? If you want a quiet night at home then STAY HOME!!! As satisfying as eating well in Italy. – I am so grateful for the Il Posto experience here in Denver. I might not have experienced all the Italian restaurants here but so far I have not had food with the wonderfully clean, organic and make you melt flavors since Italy 6 years ago. Why would Anyone Go Anywhere Else? – I have dined extensively at IL Posto and I have forever changed my idea, or the American idea I had, of authentic Italian food. It does not have the heavy sauces and oversized "family" portions of other "Italian" restaurants. Simply put, iL Posto is a dining experience. wow! – My wife and I ate at il posto last evening for our anniversary and it was delightful. Denver has nothing like it. The energy and intensity this place is almost combustible. While, the service and ambiance were top notch, the food is the main attraction. We highly recommend the burrata, this bufala mozzarella is flown in fresh from Naples weekly, and the risotto was well worth the wait. Thank you Il Posto for your fresh and simplistic take on food, we'll be back soon!
