I read some of the reviews about Dr. Katz. The complaints about his bedside manner is absurd. If you want someone to hold your hand, then go to a pediatrician. This doctor is experienced and top of his occupation. He is doing his JOB....to fix what is wrong with you or to tell you what you need to do. Thank you Dr. Katz. Kind Regards, Audi G.

After a broken femur, I was taken by ambulance to Conemaugh hospital. Because of the pain, I was given morphine and don't remember anything for three days. After my release, was moved to a rehab hospital, then home therapy, then outpatient therapy. Could never improve to the degree they wanted, and felt there was still a problem. Went back for check ups, and Katz told me there was nothing wrong. After 10 months of outpatient therapy, I requested a CT scan. Katz said there was nothing wrong with my leg and NO, he would not or... read more

Horrible experience. Rude, arrogant, no bedside manner whatsoever. My 6 yr old son broke his arm and was terrified when we went and was extremley shy, Dr. Katz told me that I needed to teach him manners. The poor kid was in signifigant amount of pain, 6 yrs old and scared and had the audacity to say that. I will NEVER go to or recommend him to ANYONE. when leaving i witnessed him also being very condescending to his fellow employees. Someone needs to teach HIM so manners.

Rude, short, and treats you like an inconvenience. Was especially sad to see how he treated his fellow co-workers. I feel so badly for the nurses that have to work with him.

Saw this dr for a follow up appointment after fracturing my femur. He was very rude and spent less than 2 minutes in the room. Insulted my therapist for not getting my knee to bend as much as he wanted. Did not take the time to ask if I had any other questions about my recovery. Told me to get another dr in Pittsburgh so it is closer to my home did not recommend any to help. The PA that was in the room was very kind and talked with me after but I would not recommend seeing this Dr.

Terrible experience. He was rude - asked why I had the MRI and spent $1000 on it. He said it was not necessary. Wonder how he knew what was wrong with my knee?? Will never go back. The PA was wonderful who did the injection. I wanted to ask him how he could work there because he (the PA) is so nice. When I explained something he was agitated like he didn't want to listen. At the end of the visit he asked if I had any questions and I said no - he would have just been arrogant and I didn't need that.
