Wait before you buy a Toyota! I am a loyal Toyota customer, which may change to "was." My first, a 2001 Prius, and then a 2010 and now, I bought a 2017 Prius Prime in July 2017 from Toyota of the Desert and at 18 months and 12k miles the steering wheel "leather" is coming off. I have asked for warrantee coverage, now 3 times over 5 months at a local Toyota dealership service. I absolutely love this place! Art Ramírez is my service advisor & always makes sure my safety is paramount! I had a concern w/ my car, he got me in on a Friday afternoon, had a mechanic ready to drive my car, found the issue & started on the repairs! I had to rent a car due to the length of repairs.
