Didn't even want to give one star! All hy-vee's need to train their employees better in customer service!
Usually a pretty good store, but lately I've been having issues. My last trip to this store, I bought some sympathy cards. The cashier rang them up and then slid them down the way with other groceries instead of handing them back to me. There was something wet at the bottom, so I told the sacker that there was goo and to keep my cards out of it. 3:30pm went to check out 3 lines were 4 people deep. Took front manager 5 minutes to call help up. This is why I quit shopping at Walmart. Also totally hate new setup, can't find anything, pet supply section is in the way. No through aisles, have to walk around it. Was told "or will all make sense". Why are you making people walk past pet stuff and baby stuff. It was tucked away out of the way before.
I purchased an Amazon gift card 8-18-2016 with groceries , unfortunately the activation did not work. I as a previous retail mgt. person would have been questioning a customer returning with this problem. HyVee mgt. was professional and issued a new card for me. The second one worked properly and I want to thank No 4 HyVee for the wonderful store - great employees- and that is why we shop there every week!! Thank you so much for believing me and correcting this problem.
Nice job on the new relocation of all the items in the store. Who wouldn't want to spend an extra half hour in the store just trying to find their groceries? Maybe you should have moved the checkout lanes to the loading dock to make it even more of a treasure hunt. Even the cashier didn't have the nerve to ask if I found everything I was shopping for.
We love the store and can always find a good deal. They have s great meat department
The Fluer Dr hyvee is the best, 30 + year customer even if there is an issue they take care of it with a smile Still go out of my way to shop there!!!
I just bought the most beautifully decorated cake for my daughter's 14th birthday. They bake the best tasting cakes and they really do a wonderful job decorating.
Honestly the people there are so friendly. I have appointments up in dsm and I stopped by this hyvee because they had sushi. And the guy who was working (can't remember his name to save my life) was more than happy to make me fresh rolls and then be able to communicate with me and he also didn't make me feel like a burden. Which is awesome! Then on top of that the other employees while waiting on my sushi gave samples to my daughter and came over and talked to her.
