I’m so disappointed to write this, but it looks like we will go else where for our floral arrangements. I’ve always been impressed by Hy-Vee’s selection and quality, but since moving to Altoona we have not been impressed by the quality. My husband loves to spoil me, but the last two times my flowers have not bloomed. They have just wilted and died. I didn’t get to enjoy them. Unrealistic company pharmacy policies. Example: needing to be down to 3 pills before allowing refills. What if leaving for vacation 4 days before out of medication? I suggest using other places.

Tonight we ate at the grille for my daughter’s 10th birthday. She ordered dessert. I secretly asked the waitress if they had a candle bcz if not I’d go buy one. The found one, found a lighter & had 4 employees sing Happy Birthday. Love how special they made her feel. Thank you.
On this crazy day of holiday shopping the Altoona HyVee brought their A game. Plenty of knowledge staff, experienced check out staff, genuinely friendly employees all over greeting people and offering help.
