Excited to see them at the Amazing Wedding Race! -Couple #22
We can’t wait to meet them at The Amazing Wedding Race. Couple #54 has heard wonderful things.
It is not much different than any other Hy-Vee. It may be a a tad smaller, so selections are not as good. But, surprisingly, it did have a Healthy/real food section, again not as many choices, but some of the real foods were mixed in with the chemical/processed foods. Will still pick Hy-Vee over Wally World any day, or night.
Love the Altoona Hyvee and Starbucks. Always good service, friendly and fast. This store is always clean and well taken care of.
I am regularly overcharged on items and they want to argue with me that I am wrong when the price tag is clearly right there. They also do not price match competitors like fareway- other Hy-Vees have no problem price matching. This specific Hy-Vee I will not be revisiting as I always seem to leave upset with something. Not worth it.
RecommendedHyVee Altoona absolutely hit it out of the park with a grand slam for our wedding. They were the best one stop shop for Catering, Floral, Bakery & Wine & Spirits for our Iowa State Fair wedding. THEY DID IT ALL & it looked amazing. From mini corn dogs & wings for appetizers to the taco & slider bar to the fully stocked doughnut board! The service before & during the event was top notch. Thank you to Rachel Matson & her team! You guys were so easy to work with, and had zero concerns on my wedding day. 🙌🏼
I’m very disappointed you have chosen to replace the Express lines with self checkouts. I had thought HyVee was better than that. You have made the other lines ridiculously long, and expect your customers to do the work of the employees. You have sacrificed your customer service. I will only shop there if there’s something I absolutely cannot find at Fareway, which still provides service to its customers. I had expected better from an Iowa company.
I don’t know who the genius is at Hy-Vee corporate who decided to change up the Market Grille but it sucks. They have essentially turned this into a McDonalds style fast food restaurant. No more flat bread pizzas (that were excellent) and the service stinks along with the layout of the eating area. I’ll never spend another dime here as there are better eating options readily available. Such a shame.
