Wonderful bakery at the Altoona store. LOVE IT. This is my favorite HyVee. Just wish I lived closer.
Staff are so friendly and accommodating, love the meat department and staff, great selection in all departments
I did my first Aisles Online order today. Unfortunately when I picked it up I was short about 20 items. I called into the store and Missy offered to deliver my items to my home in PHIll, she was apologetic and super sweet. She delivered my items and also gave me a gift card for the mix up!! Just went from being a satisfied Hy-Vee customer to a VERY satisfied Hy-Vee customer. Mid-day shopping on Christmas Eve could have easily been a stressful and miserable experience. Indeed the parking lot was full and carts and people were a buzzing everywhere in the store. Despite that, every employee I encountered had a genuine smile and TWO separate employees took time to not only answer my questions but walk with me to where I could find the products I was looking for.
