I’m sorry to be that person but I won’t be shopping at hyvee any longer until masks are mandatory to enter the store. It’s gonna take all of us to try and hault this virus. It’s a little ridiculous that Walmart requires masks to try and curb this virus but hyvee won’t.
RecommendedThe Hy-Vee at Prairie Trail-Ankeny made the cakes for our wedding on 9-6-20. The process was super easy with them. We were able to do a tasting, they delivered the cakes to our venue, and the cakes were very reasonably priced compared to a lot of other bakeries in the area. The cakes were all delicious as well. We also had a fancier tiered cake, which they created perfectly per our requests. We also had them put our fake flowers on the cake for us, at no extra charge. Sara V made the cakes for our son’s wedding last weekend. She was awesome to work with. The cakes were reasonably priced, delicious and nicely decorated. We received a lot of compliments about them.
Not happy with the service tonight!!! First day of the ad and they are out of the cases of water that is in there 3 day ad. 32 count cases 4 for 9.98.... however they have tons of the 24 count cases... they won’t give a rain check or sub the 24 count. But your welcome to keep coming back everyday to see if they get any. Lousy customer service!!!

Visited this evening, had a several employees provide excellent service! Especially Mason, working in the Chinese food area, and Jentzen, work at the dinner cash register. All the employees were knowledgable, polite, and went above expectation. They helped make our experience enjoyable. Keep it up Hy-Vee!

Been here since 8:33am appointment time is at 10am and its 3pm and still waiting in dock trucks came in after me unloaded and gone.
Great friendly staff and very clean
I did online order and pick up. When I got home I realized I was missing all my cold/frozen food. Called the store and they apologized and said they’d look into it and call me back. Next thing I knew, the doorbell rang and they delivered the rest of my groceries! Thanks for delivering at the end of the night!
Inside the store is great, friendly people but the market grill is terrible. The last 3 times I’ve been there, it’s been at 1/3 capacity, not busy at all. Every time there has been absurd waits. Latest time 1/24, again hardly anyone there. Timed the from when seated to get food and it was an hour and 5 minutes. Food was great, waitress was very kind and apologetic, but for the third time in a row service has been slower than any restaurant I’ve been to.
