Went for my 1st time today & not impressed. I lived in Iowa for 20 years & that is the only place I ever shopped. When I visit my daughter in Iowa we get Chinese Take-Out for dinner at the HyVee by her house. Wanted to introduce my husband to HyVee so we walked around the store & went to get Chinese Take-Out. No sweet & sour sauce for our Egg Rolls - tried to find some in the store and after lap around the store - asked someone only to be shown it in an aisle that was not marked properly. good eating and place to hang
Very clean. Produce is always fresh. And they have been updating their selection of Asian produce. Prices sometimes can be just a little high. But I usually find some things on sale. And we are big fans of the fuel savor program. We are in a situation where we are penny pinching so items that are sale and fuel savor items are big plus. My review is more about the online grocery ordering and pickup. I had the worst possible experience tonight. I arrived, and they told me that they had accidentally given my order to someone else. I was told to wait until that customer returned to the store (approximately 15 minutes). They apologized, and I understand that people make mistakes. I was there today and yes I do understand that Sundays are very busy and Mondays are for restocking but several aisles were completely impassable and they WERE OUT OF REGULAR BUTTER AND BACON. This is totally unacceptable. I usually try not to do my regular shipping at Hy-Vee and this, along with their super high prices on staples, is why.

I've done my last business with this pharmacy. Absolutely horrendous service. Hy-Vee should stick to groceries and drop the pharmacy... they SUCK at it.
