The store is simply amazing with the new remodel. The employees are Fabulous!!
The people are always so kind and friendly. I go here weekly, but tonight for some reason I couldn't find my debit card. The young man at the check out was so kind and had someone from customer service come over. They kindly explained that I could wait there until I found my card. It turned out that I didn't have it with me and they let my fiancé pay over the phone. Another positive experience. Keep up the awesome work!
This place is a joke after 10pm. Even before 10pm during more normal hours it's not that great. As if the prices weren't bad enough, consistently waiting for a cashier to appear and check you out is ridiculous. Waited over five minutes while audibly saying "HELLO!" trying to get the cashier to check me out. When she finally does start to meander over from the opposite side of the store, she tells me I have to NOW wait even longer because the nightly reports are printing? No thanks. Bud, We would like to apologize about you having to not only wait for a cashier to appear but also have to wait for a nightly flip. We will let our night time cashier know they are not to leave the front end and if they are stocking/cleaning the registers at the other end they need to keep their ears and eyes open. I had Chinese food today from Hy Vee at East Washington and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I got food poisoning!!!! The Chinese Food at the Fitchburg location is Outstanding.
