The House At 61 Steinwehr Ave Was Not Here Yet During The Civil War Battle Of Gettysburg, But Was Build About 1900, Yes It Is Small Inside, But We Make Great Use Of The Space. We are CLOSED FOR THE SEASON FROM THANKSGIVING, DECEMBER, JANUARY AND FEBRUARY, REOPENING IN March.

Cheese steaks were great...friendly staff...will be back again!
I’ve heard how good the food is, although I couldn’t tell you myself. I walked in this weekend with my wife and children and was immediately met by a very rude person that informed me they didn’t have room for me. We said ok and asked if we could order carry out. To which we were told it would be a half an hour before they could get around to taking and order and we needed to leave their property. After many times visiting Gettysburg we finally made it to the cafe. Yesterday was our 36th Anniversary so my wife said let’s drive to Gettysburg and give Hunts a try. I am so glad she suggested it. The cheesesteak and fries were fantastic.
Quite a pleasant surprise! The best cheeseburger & cheeseburger sub we've had in a long time. We'll definitely be back!!
The cheese steaks are phenomenal. So are the fries and the fresh squeezed lemonade. Made to order.
