The House At 61 Steinwehr Ave Was Not Here Yet During The Civil War Battle Of Gettysburg, But Was Build About 1900, Yes It Is Small Inside, But We Make Great Use Of The Space. We are CLOSED FOR THE SEASON FROM THANKSGIVING, DECEMBER, JANUARY AND FEBRUARY, REOPENING IN March.

RecommendedTotal out of towners! We were tired after a long day of sightseeing and lunch had gotten a little too late. I’m so thankful that we found this joint. Excellent food, the cheesesteak was amazing and the fries were delicious! Had to show some serious restraint not to place an order to go for later. We enjoyed the history lesson we got from the owner Scott and his personal attachments to the area! Great find!
Great food and the staff and cook are always super friendly and make great conversation. It’s a stop for our family every time we are in the area.

It was great! A big basket of fries and a cheesesteak better than the one I got in Philly today. It’s small...way too small for how good it is, but go ahead and wait around for a table. It’s worth it. Don’t be a jerk and stalk out. If you want run of the mill, go to Applebee’s. This is Americana at its finest.

Best burgers, cheese steaks and fries! Breakfast was amazing as well. All home cooked fresh meals. Can't wait to go back again!

The best beef cheesesteak I've ever had! Fries were fantastic also. Super friendly waitress and cool sign shop as well! Definitely eat here on your Gettysburg stay!
