Goodbye, Huntington! Great facilities, nice staff but the billing is a nightmare. Too many times we've gone to Huntington and then spent 12-18 MONTHS dealing with the billing issues. Random doctors who are not in your network but see you anyway, entirely random bills that arrive 6 or even 12 months after the services, rude billing staff who make you wait and are completely unhelpful. allergic to scented cleaning products, too many bells, beeps, TV, construction noise. Can't even get into hospital so noisy! Can't get mental health treatment because allergic to meds! Can't stay in hospital due to scented product allergies/asbestos!
I would not recommend this hospital at all. They overcharge you for the service. In one of our instances we were charged $511 for Hepatitis B vaccine for our baby. The vaccinations are covered 100% by insurance company but they don't send them the detailed bill so there is no way for insurance company to know these charges and take it off from our portion.
