We have been contacting Huntington Bank for a YEAR to get our Boat Title mailed to us. On numerous occasions, we were told that it was already mailed, which was a LIE. We have been calling several times a month about this and NO ONE can get to the bottom of this! Where is our boat title? We are often told that someone will call us back... but they don't. We leave messages and they never return calls. Worst customer Service EVER!

I have been trying to get 2 checks refunded to me or my son since November, 2020 from a closed account. Huntington stated they sent this out in November, 2020 and again in January 7, 2021. I was the primary name on the account but my son closed the account. Nothing but a nightmare and run around from all of them. I did not choose this bank and would never do so again. They delayed my mortgage because they couldn't get their act together by one month. Their web site is c*** and does not function properly. Their customer service is dismal. You can't log in, yes, even when you have all the proper IDs. Every other bank I use has zero problems, this bank has issues EVERY time. When Chemical and TCF banks merged, my nightmare began. Having a home equity line of credit, all that is required is to make the minimum payments and provide a copy of home owners policy. After the merger, I received a copy of the policy change that showed TCF on the policy; which means TCF received a copy as well. First I received a "Second and Final notice to provide proof of coverage and, in response, a copy was mailed. Next, a letter of "forced" coverage levied upon the balance of the loan. This is the worse bank I have ever dealt with in my 40 plus years of banking....I have owned and financed over a dozen cars, furniture and two homes ...and paid all off on time...This is the first bank where it is almost impossible to set up automatic payments...DO NOT USE THIS BANK... just spent an hour waiting to talk to a real person to fix this issue. Wish I could give ZERO stars.

I had to request a car title loan transfer in October which was sent to the DMV instead of the tax commissioner's office where it needed to go. I have made them aware of this and this has still not been resolved MID-JANUARY! I have to literally call EVERY DAY they are open and am passed around because I am given the same standard response that they need to check with the"rep" and either they will call me back or I will have to call back. I have been a TCF Bank customer for 15 years. Ever since their merger in 2020, this bank has been horrible. Their service was not the greatest before and has gone downhill over the years but the past 6 months one can hardly call it customer service. A few months ago I was unable to get statements online and when going into a branch not even there they could print statements. I've been with Huntington for about 20 years and when my card broke in half they said the new one would come in 3 to 5 business days... well it's been 3 weeks now!!! I'm done! Closing my account tomorrow and putting my money in a different bank!!! Also be careful if you get a checking and savings account with them!!! I had a joint savings account with my fiance but separate checking accounts and put $3000 into the savings... well apparently they take your money out of your savings account without ever telling you so he spent... read more
