This “national” bank literally stole my money. My husband and I moved to a new state and after his last PAYROLL checks arrived we deposited them into our newly opened checking account. A few days later Huntington deemed the checks suspicious they not only put a hold on the checks, they debited the checks OUT of our account while also being on hold putting us extremely negative. I went to close my account in OCT. 2020....was told everything was closed and only cash deposits could be taken. However once I brought my account to 0 to close my account they did not. Then in January they allow a check to be deposited, even though the account was suppose to be closed. The manager was rude and i'm surprised she made it that far in the banking industry being that way. Ms. ****** doesn't treat people with respect at all. I got a check for a fairly large sum from a friend out of state and deposited the check via ATM. Huntington in turn flagged my account for "suspicious activity" and froze my checking account for seven days. They said that this was done to "protect me". That's odd, I don't feel protected. I feel kinda ******because I can't pay overdue bills with cash, which is the only method they allow me to use with my frozen account, which they seem to have froze for no reason beyond depositing a check from a friend. Terrible! If I could give 0 stars I would. Some of the most shady characters out there. Even in closing out my account they charged me $75 THREE times because they said they didn't "see" the previous two payments (that I got confirmation from them that they had received). Absolutely unbelievable. They charge late fees for things that don't exist on payments that have already been given in full. Don't give yourself the headache. They're crooks - short and simple.

Had a truck loan from Huntington bank which we paid off in Dec of 2020. It took five aggravating months to receive the title because Huntington did not release the bank lien to the dmv in Pennsylvania where my title sat for five months. Called customer service numerous times and they kept telling me to call the ohio dmv ro get my title, but MY TITLE WAS IN PA DMV where I live and the PA dmv could not release it because the lien was still on it . Worst banking ever. Had the account for 1 week. On day 3 they close the account. Took 2 days to get someone the phone for them to go 'ummmm, you'll have to go the branch". At the branch, I learn that they "sent back" a $500 deposit. Only neither the company nor I have received the $500 so where did it go? And they legit closed the account because they don't know what the ****is going on...

Absolutely do not get a loan from TCF Bank. I had a loan with ************** which was bought out by TCF bank. My automatic payments didn't work and took me months of calls with TCF bank to finally get it fixed. In the meantime they charged me late fees but later waved them. In April suddenly the automatic payments weren't working again. I found out that the automatic payments had a $ cap and that they payment didn't happen because the monthly payment had increased past the $ cap. The reason why it increased. Well well well, No surprise that Huntington as a scam. Set up auto drafts from my bank account. This allowed them to double dip from my bank account. I discovered the double dip after I mailed in payment in full for my RV. There response... sorry for your luck. The company fraudulently charged my bank account, and wont offer a refund except for it to go back to what was owed on the RV after the fact. Complete and utter **... DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

I am a Huntington Bank customer. I have accounts with it, including direct deposit of my humble paycheck. On April 13, 2021, I went to get a credit card. It was denied due to alleged "Limited Credit Experience". I am not clear why, when last month with my other credit card I received more than $2,000.00 in credit, which I will pay in the next weeks.
