Your service is horrible. I waited for over 45 minutes at your *******, ******** branch to speak to a banker. My CD matured and I had till Oct. 17, 2021 to do something with it. Because of your poor customer service I decided to close it. I have three more CDs that I will be closing and take them to a more professional bank in my area. Also, I waited for over one hour to talk to **************** to voice my complaint and the representative told me they had over **** calls on hold which I am sure were complaints. I am weary of "your call is important to us" but hold for an hour. This was my effort to report fraud to Huntington Bank. You know what? Shave a few million off executive salaries and hire more "customer service" employees. I am not willing to wait an hour, or in fact more than nominal time to make this report. It affects Huntington and its legal obligations too. I haven''t banked with Huntington for perhaps 30 years. I have been a TCF customer for more than 50 years. Withdrew cash from a Huntington ATM and found that the receipt stated my account balance as about $1000 when it should be about $29000. Went to the local branch, which had a line out the door. There was only one teller for both drive-through and lobby. I was originally a customer of TCF Bank. The merger/transfer was finalized this weekend (October 10 - 12, 2021) and now I am unable to access my account online and am being told to contact their #*** to fix the issue. **************** is horrendous, and unfortunately wait times to get through are hours long only to be transferred to some other department and wait again for many more hours on hold. As TCF ( will miss them dearly) merged with Huntington national, its nothing but problems. Automated payments were promised to transfer automatically, are being denied ( they had merged 10/12 2021 and its 10/13 2021). **************** is slow and rude and nothing gets solved. Over 2 hours on hold and after that Im being told to be quiet by a representative Still waiting for cards in mail . Some people got them over a month ago. This must be the worse bank in town. Yesterday they merged with TCF Bank and the result was disastrous! I went to the ************************* and there were 15 people ahead of me. The line of cars trying to do business with the bank went all the way into the adjacent Target parking lot. It took me one hour exactly in line to make a deposit. Old ladies had to bring chairs because they could not stand so long. Apparently, the bank had not trained the employees about how to use their new system. This apparently has happened b... read more

The Huntington take over of TCF is an absolute disaster. This take over was prepped for months in advance and when it actually took place card stopped working days before the transition, accounts were inaccessible for almost 4 days, people were literally left on the streets due to not being able to access accounts or their money. Nothing is transferring over and any auto pays have to be changed, payroll needs to be changed with all employers, the extra paperwork is a nightmare. Switch banks while you can!

Horrible customer service. Phone questions and AI to determine issue are terrible. When you finally, finally get to the point to transfer to a human, they are informing you of an hour wait time.TCF had much better service. If I could do so, I wojuld give this a zero star review.
