First of all, hats off to the weary former TCF employees charged with providing customer service through this terrible merger. On my many trips to my local branch to find resolution, I've witnessed several employees on the verge of tears. They have been placed in a really helpless situation.After logging at least 5 hours on line and three trips to my local branch (waiting in line for ***** minutes each time), I am still unable to make an "owner's draw" from my business to my personal. I waited 2.5 hours for a service representative only to be told they couldn't help. I misplaced my business bank card and I was told my the representative that they don't address business bank accounts over the phone. This is very unusual because most check cards have a number on the back or online to cancel your card of its lost or stolen. This is poor customer service.

My son and I bailed from TCF back in Sept when we heard they were becoming a Huntington Bank. Since completely CLOSING our TCF accounts, Huntington keeps sending letters asking for $ from our Huntington accts! (Which we don't have). Hours and hours online to be told to go to the bank, and then standing in a drive-thru because they will not let people in the bank. The transition to Huntington for former TCF Bank customers has been so frustrating. Accounts numbers have changed (without new information being provided), automated payments have been changed, wait times for call assistance are crazy, and it seems every representative gives different information. When speaking to a representative in the mortgage department I was first given multiple security checks to confirm my identity (which is fine) but then when updating my payment I was told that I had to fill out a form and mail it i... read more

Horrible service, They refused to get my debit card to me in a orderly fashion, and they won't let me withdraw my money from the bank.

I was a TCF customer since ****. Even after ********************** purchased TCF I was given a call thanking me for the long term service. Then a week later Huntington refused a Transfer to ***** Fargo to pay my home mortgage. Yesterday they have refused to transfer money in my ENT credit union account for a car payment. Both times I have been in a spot where I could go take care of it myself by writing a check. If I can give no stars I would! I been with *** bank for a long time but since this merger with Huntington has been a nightmare! There customer service is unprofessional that we cannot handle conversations a whole conversation with customers or find a resolution with issues that customers are having which personally I am seems like they hiring people who come right out of high school speak with the 15 rude, disgusting, unprofessional, people!
