Worse bank. No remorse with the scam situation. Closed my account without any notice and gave me the run around trying to get my money that what left in the account. Terrible terrible terrible

I have been trying to make a withdraw since May and now it is September and have got nothing but a runaround. I cannot speak to anyone that can get anything done, all they do is leave ma a new case number. Then I call back later and all i get is another cast number. This bank has way too many fees. Huntington has a sub company that that I have that has my money (Newport) they are the ones that I have been trying to work with no results now for 6 Months.I suggest that no one should do any bussness with this bank!

By far the worst bank I have ever had. I disputed activity on my account, a hotel charged me and I disputed the charge because I canceled the reservation and never stayed there. I disputed with both the hotel and my bank. After I thought everything was handled I received my money back, I thought everything was completed. 3 months later they charge my account again. ******** had followed up with the dispute and I reported is as resolved. I changed my phone number on the website on September 2, 2022 as I changed numbers. My card was blocked after trying to update a Funimation subscription on ****** (my card has been blocked FIVE TIMES before this because subscriptions were switched to this card) on September 3rd, I called that same day and was told it would take ***** hours to update. My father in law went to get a mortgage through Huntington Bank. ***** at the West Branch location told him that it wasn't a problem with it being his second home. He is wanting to live closer to town given his age and wanted to be closer to his DR and the normal essentials. Yesterday he had to pay for an inspection which we all know needs to be done, but from the being he told them it would be for a manufactured home. One of the worst banks I have ever dealt with!- ********* is not only predatory but it will do anything to keep collecting on their predatory interest rate. It has been h*** dealing with this bank since we inherited a house with a mortgage and had to deal with this garbage of a bank. They have mishandled our account and our funds so many times that had lead me to place complaints with the ***** but even them seem to be for the big ;conglomerate than the consumer. Worst bank I have ever dealt with. If I could give them no stars I would. I took a loan through them on my truck, everything was set up by the Jeep dealership I purchased my vehicle through. I wanted to pay my loan off early, and that is when the problems started. I tried to make an extra payment of $1000 which was kicked back to my account and I was charged $20. I deposited a check through the *** it cleared in 2 days but they continued to keep the check on hold for 5 days and could not give an answer why. That's just terrible business.

The Huntington Bank app is - YET AGAIN - not working. Since Sat Aug 15 2022, the app renders an error that I allegedly am not connected to the internet. Yet I *am* connected w 5 bars and loading mobile websites just fine! It is still not working as of *****am on Aug 16 I do NOT have Wi-Fi - use cellular data. Phone is ** V3O Android 9 (no upgrade beyond that).My troubleshooting: cleared cache and cookies. Restarted phone. Have done this repeatedly to NO AVAIL.
