Took my wife for Mother's Day...found a front row parking spot...wait was about an hour but the fish and shrimp tacos were great and the beer was cold!! Waitress was great also!!

While Chuy's is my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant, Hula Hut and its location on Lake Austin has the overall most unique and creative twist on Tex- Mex that I have experienced! Lunch was Roasted Chicken Pipeline Enchilada. It was mammoth and covered with an amazing sauce. Only the distance and Austin traffic keep me from being a more often visitor! Polynesian Tex- Mex...definitely fits the "keep Austin weird" theme!
