Love this trail. Great for biking or walking and mostly shaded is a plus too.
The Backcountry trail provides a new perspective to the phrase 'going to the beach'... we enjoy biking every day that the weather permits... in addition to all of the other wonderful things (swimming, sunning, walking, shopping, eating...)to do when we are 'at the beach!'

Visiting from Nashville. Yesterday was my second time here. First time back in February we rode bikes and had a great time, saw some Gators and Gator babies. Really neat! Yesterday we took my dog for a run on the trail and LOVED it! One of my favorite trails ever!
I love riding the trails. It's safe out of traffic. We love seeing the wildlife...alligators, tortoises, rabbits, squirrels, even lizards, spiders and snakes.
Beautiful trails. It was a perfect day for us. We will be going back again.
