Went to er and was there for awhile. The first 30 minutes our nurse came in twice. After 1230 am we never saw our nurse again and the doctor never came in to see us. Finally at 5am me and my wife decided to leave and go somewhere else. Their was dry blood in room 3 on the cabinets from patients before us. The put us in a room and basically forgot about us. Will never go back to this hospital. Came to Sarah Bush and in an hour and half was seen by doctor, had labs drawn, and ct ordered.
I recently went to the Er due to breathing issues none of my vitals were taken, no blood tests were ran I was given a breathing treatment and told it just had to run its course come to find out I had whooping cough and was admitted to the hospital by my lung Dr at dmh when my lung Dr tried to get my records from my visit at st Mary's they were told they had no record of me being there on the day I was treated good thing I had the paper work still
I want to give a HUGE shout out to the OB nursing staff, but one nurse in particular... Sarah Shoemaker. This nurse was such a God sent and is a great asset to St Mary’s staff! She was very helpful and very personable. She took time to get to know my daughter during her “out patient “ visit of getting fluids and anti- nausea medicine. Sarah has a great “bed-side manner” with her patients. Thank you so very much Sarah! She was already told that when my daughter goes into labor she will be requested as our nurse!!
The nurses were great but stretched too thin. In the 1st room the bathroom was so small there was no way he could get in with an IV pole. The second room was better but bathroom still pretty small. We had to wait hours to get to a room from ICU. Security was ridiculous I had to stay late with my husband. He was having a problem. The front door was locked at 9 pm. So I had to go through ER and walk a long way to my car by myself. I asked security about being afraid because of it being a bad neighborhood. He said I’ll watch yo... read more
My mom and brother went to the Er for a uti & an ear infection and they were only given antibiotics. Nothing for the pain, and the doctor was rushing them out. I know it was completely crap when they said they couldn’t do anything for the pain, when I myself got a shot for my tooth pain which could’ve atleast been given to my brother with a terrible ear ache. Later my mom gave them a call, and was told she would receive a call back and never did. It’s clear they don’t care about their patients, just getting them in and out. ... read more
