Great stay!
I drove my husband to St. Mary’s from the Mt. Zion movie theater on Aug. 28th. I told the reception nurse I thought he was having a heart attack. The staff was quick to get him into a room and were very efficient yet compassionate. A special thanks to a male nurse named Matt and also to my friend, Michelle Bovyn, RN!
I just want to say St. Mary's Hospital has the most awesome cardiac (6th floor) nurses and techs. This includes the ones who are a part of the cardiac testing and procedures (also 6th floor). They were on the ball, patient, and did everything they could. Even when extremely busy they were polite and got to you as soon as possible. I hear so much negative about St. Mary's, but honestly I can't. Sometimes you just have to look at your own attitudes and if you were in their shoes. Great staff. The cardiovascular department is the best!
My husband had a serious fall while we were out of town, three hours away. We went to the nearest ER, without the doctor even examining him, we were in and out in less than an hour. We headed home and came to St. Mary's. From the check in to the nurses, doctor, and CT, every single person was courteous, caring, and professional. He was attended to in a timely manner, and given excellent care, always with an explanation of what was being done and why.
