I lived in the Forrest Creek Townhomes for 16 months, paid rent on time every month had absolutely no problems (outside of some raggedy pipes that were promptly repaired) until I moved out. HRC retained almost my entire security deposit and charged me for painting the townhome, which is considered normal wear and tear under state law. I was in an apartment for less than 4 months and upon move out i requested a walk through with HRC to go over and make sure everything was good. Was told "we don't do walk troughs" This is a horrible idea HRC then has the ability to say anything is wrong in the apartment and you have no say. I requested that if anything was wrong with the apartment to receive a call because i was told " it could take up to a week for us to do the walk through". Never got a call. Pebblebrook is the best laid out apartment community in manhattan. Winding streets wrapped around the professional landscape is something that is far too often overlooked! I've lived here for more than 6yrs. #unique
