************* location was probably the worse and most expensive experience when it comes to filing taxes. Accountant was rude and their advertising of upfront pricing is non existent.

In 2021 I had H&R Block file my taxes. **************************************************************************************************. I paid my taxes and all seemed well. Now I find out they made a mistake on my tax form regarding the advanced child tax break credit. This mistake resulted in me still owing over $1,000 after fees and interests. H&R Block was unable to complete my 2022 tax return due to a known software issue. I did not find out about this software issue until I was in the final review phase of my return process, and I was the one who caught the error on my return (not my tax advisor!!). In order to review my return, I had to pay the tax preparation fees ($550) first. Then I found out about the software... read more

Ill make it short. My tax pro entered my wire transfer number instead of my account number (even though I clearly labeled everything on the spreadsheet I gave her) and the *** and state couldnt access my account to debit my taxes. I was absolutely on my own in trying to contact *** and state to deal with my tax pros error. While theyve offered to reimburse late fees and penalties, H&R still feels entitled to keep the $680 prep fees I paid for the security of having them file my taxes and the assistance they provide if their ... read more

How ***** Block has stayed in business since '55 is a mystery! ******************* professionalism, accuracy, communication...NO!!!! - Website...non functioning. Help desk...tells me to send my info via email....really?? - Response from accountant to my questions....I am still waiting (it's now May).- *********** minimal at best. H&R BLOCK had my fund transferred to their account and claims they aren't able to locate it. I contacted the *** whom stated, it was deposited, and to which account information it was deposited into. H&R BLOCK ARE CROOKS!!! I would highly recommend to stay clear. I spoke with a ***************** who was useless in her ability to do her job , when I called for help.

Awful Service. I filed my taxes using there website. My E file was rejected because of a previous year AGI issue so I then f Printed and mailed my return like HR Block told me to. The *** then accepted and sent my refund out in a Refund Transfer. During the Refund Transfer, HR Block then decided to send my refund back to the ***....... On April 17th I went into my local H&R Block office to have my wife and I taxes prepared which they were and we were satisfied with the preparations. However, when I paid the $484 I also paid $220 for the individual that paid in front of me. I understand the Verifone credit card machine messed up but I have my bank statement showing both withdrawals on the same day. On April 11th, I dropped off all my paperwork in the office for them to file. A man told me someone would be calling me the next day to file my taxes. 3 days went by, no one had called. Friday the 14th, I called to make sure they had received my paperwork. I was told again, that they were busy and someone would call me within 24hrs. Yet again, no one calls me for another 2-3days.
