Files my taxes in april, or so i thought. Called back may to check on filing and they asked for additional $500 and my routing # to get it which i supplied. Got call dec 27th that my file had been found in the bottom of the drawer and was never filed. Waited 2 weeks for the supposed filing to commence again and was cussed out nonstop about how this was my fault because they werent sure i wanted to file. I asked them to please just file it. My fianc filed in March, early March. Weve noticed not only did h&r block change our routing number after taxes were filed but due to them changing the routing number they had to issue a check. When the check was mailed to the physical not mailing address it was not received. Nobody called to tell ** this happened, no email, nothing. We waiting for the check to be returned and have also have filled out the paperwork 3 times to receive the replacement. Suddenly all of our forms disappeared and have not been found. I'm very disappointed with this place. I had them prepare my husband and I 2021 taxes. After everything was filed, we nearly paid over $5,700. I was quite shocked but at the time didn't really think nothing of it. Thank goodness I went to another tax preparer for our 2022 taxes. I had them review our 2021 taxes and come to find out the preparer reported the withholdings incorrectly and over reported! It'll take 5 months to process and now I have to wait. All I'm asking is to get a refund for the fee I paid for their services... read more

So sick and tired of them forcing the paid options on ** with no way to remove them. I really do not understands how it is ethical or legal for them to do this to consumers. They make it IMPOSSILBE to get it removed and this should not be the case. If, as they claim, the issue is software not being able to roll back then just STOP forcing the expensive versions without a confirmation step, it really is that simple. The most horrible service I've ever received. I had my taxes done April of 2022 there is been so many mistakes I am still waiting on my return I filed 3 years I have paid almost $500. H&r block in *********** Bel Air and ************************* do not know how to do their jobs and try to cover their mistakes. Went into their branch office to have a Tax Pro (joke) prepare for a tax year. Brought all required information and documents to have them prepare it At the end was told they would submit the tax for that specific year.Payed them out of my checking account $155.00 to have them prepare my taxes.5 days later the money was pulled out of my checking account.After checking my status through the *** I realized something was wrong.Exactly a month to the day they prepared the taxes I physically went back down to their office in whic... read more

when I filed my taxes in 2019, I thought H&R knew their s**t apparently, they do not. it 2023 and I'm still dealing with them. I been to their office multiple times to help me but, all I get is "we don't know'' or "we'll call when we find anything.' I don't what else to do, I am so confused on how they don't what to do. So, I asked for a refund since my 2019 taxes were never filed and of course they respond we have to give your request to the owner of H&R. They do not even deserve one star. For almost 10 years my taxes were completed by HR Block in **********. I moved in Dec 2021 to ********** to be near family (pandemic). I had to use the "My Block" account this year. with my ** tax pro. It was a nightmare. 1. a W2 was left out and the tax pro never asked me what the document was. H&R Block ****** ***** lost my paperwork and did not file my taxes as promised. I only found out after contacting them to find out why my refund has not been received. After reporting the issue to the local manager, she promised to call me back by 5/15 after searching for my records. I have not received a call and now their office is closed again until Thursday.
