Overcharged me an absurd amount for filing my taxes. I signed up to file with a pro and online advertises for the starting price of $85 plus additional fees for each state. After putting all of my information into their portal, they asked me to schedule an appointment in person, No where in the portal shows you how much the service was going to be, they even called the day before the appointment and told me they have everything they need. I dont give them any stars was in to do my taxes with my wife, that I am in a divorce with my wife has tried to manipulate and be vindictive about taxes. The fact that she tried to file taxes says enough, but she has gone to the links of letting it be drawn out until the very end And she couldnt file taxes on her own because she needed my W-2 so I did all the work to get an appointment set up. Showed up 15mins early to my appointment to do my taxes. At the ******** location. I had notified them the day before I needed to do multiple years. Was told no problem. I had uploaded all documents needed prior to the appt. Met with **** who proceeded to do 1 year then told me she needed to print something for another customer who walked in. I'm only providing a 1-Star review because I have no other option. First let me start out by saying that I have used H&R Block for my tax returns for as long as I can remember. However, I now will never use them again! Sadly only because I received such horrible treatment when I really needed professional advice and/or help. I had the extreme displeasure of working with ***************** at this location. She said she was going to file my contractors' ****s and when she filled out the forms, she made a bunch of mistakes. When I called to have her correct them, I was told I would have to make an appointment. I did this three times and she never called at at point. They take your money and say they will stand behind you if you are audited which is a bunch of bull
H&R Block of Winchester,Indiana charged me $495 to do my federal & state taxes . Last year I paid $270 I had less deduction I have 1 duplex I rent . I wont be going back I believe the manager cheated me out of the difference I wont be going back
Experience with H&R Block for tax year 2022 has been atrocious.First I attempted to file an online tax return to be performed by a professional in late March. I uploaded documents and the online program said a tax professional would be reviewing the documents. After over a week, I inquire about what's going on.
