H&R block is not owning their error in not being ready to file forms for customers they say the IRS has not released the 1099-B form, but when you go to IRS.gov you can see this been out for some time. When I asked for support on this they told me I just needed to use a more expensive version of their software, it's just a way to get more money when they messed up. Absolute worst. I have faithfully gone to H & R Block for about 30 years. Every year when something goes wrong I tell myself “never again”. But......by the time new year comes around I always seem yo give them another chance. This year, not only were my taxes not completed correctly, nobody seems competent enough to schedule a phone appointment to talk to anyone. Nor can anyone answer simple questions as to if they have been refiled or what is goin on. Absolutely disgusted.
Unfortunately I've had some employees mess up on our return. This last year filed 2019 with Randi Nulley at the Murrieta location. She made an honest mistake and put the wrong income information and when brought to her attention and I finally wanted to speak with the manager and she comes into me speaking with the manager calling me psychotic and being very hostile and rude to the point the manager had to ask her MULTIPLE times to stop and to please get out. I went to H&R Block in Roy, Utah and was told I had to make an appointment but I can leave my paper work and fill out a form. I asked the receptionist if they’d know I need help with an amendment and was told “yes”. Me and H&R rep. I have been coming to H&R Block for years and Lucy took care of my tax needs and gave me the peace of mind. This year was difficult for everyone. Filing my tax this year was difficult. In November of 2020 I purchased the Premium Business State version of the software from H&R Block. I did the purchase online. The program comes in 2 parts, the business part and the personal part. The personal downloaded and I began work on that. When I got to the place where I needed to generate a K1, the Business part of the program was not included. I transfer $2600 to my e-pockets 3/5/2021 successful. The money was there . Saturday 3/6/2021 morning I went on to the website to transfer some funds from the e-pocket to my account and my $2600 was not there in my e-pocket. It's been 3 days and all they have given me is a case number RES-44175783 and telling me I have to wait for a mistake H&R did on there behalf and I have to wait for money that was already in there and than disappeared . To say that we are dissatisfied with the service provided is an understatement. They are BEYOND overpriced and when the person found something that could have saved us money last year on our return (they did our return last year), she was completely flippant about it, even though it would have meant us receiving a refund last year on our state return instead of paying money back. Hi, I purchased the H&R Block 2020 individual income tax program deluxe plus state online. I received an email with the software however I never downloaded it. What happened next was the email was deleted by mistake. For the last three weeks I've been trying to reach HRBlock customer support My emails and phone calls so I could have them send me another email so I can download the software that I've already paid for.
