I did my return with them online on Sunday. Wednesday morning I got a note from them to go back in and review my account and e-file it. But now they don’t seem to be able to find my return information what is going on with this company? I already had to go in and change my information to my password because they didn’t recognize it after one day very disappointed

I’m a returning customer (been a customer since tax year 2015) and originally had an in-person appointment set for Sat. 3/13/2021. I called my local H&R Block office on Wed. 2/10/2021 to switch my in-person appointment for a virtual appointment so that I wouldn’t have to meet with my tax professional in person due to the pandemic. Nonexistent assistance. I have repeatedly reached out for assistance with my taxes and have offered to hire someone and I get absolutely NOTHING from them. My situation is international and complicated and I need help, but NO ONE cares. I get one or two email replies and then NOTHING. Absolutely worthless and infuriating as the weeks pass by with me not being able to file. I will NEVER use HRBlock again.

Minus 10 stars! Very misleading and deceptive advertising on their homepage! They claim that their "File with a tax pro" service starts from $69 + additional state fee while is reality it costs more than 10 times as much, and you only discover that after you started the process with them!!!!! They claim on their homepage that one reason to choose them is "upfront pricing"...this is a SCAM! I have always liked H&R block and have used it for well over 10 years. The PC Based Version. And I understand that the Pandemic has left many companies struggling to adapt. But this year the H&R Block software has an issue with the KEY. The number you get when you purchase the software. Since now you do not get a CD but you do get a card inside the software case with the KEY number. You then download the software and when you go to file you enter the key. very worse services!!! I am waiting two hours for phone calling customer services and disconnect my line evenly because no one answers up to pass the business hours. In between , someone from H& R Block picked up the phone but she said she only works for internet services, not software version services.; Then transfer me to on hold....I never have that bad services!. I visited the H&R Block in Woodbridge, VA. on Smoketown Rd, Shoppers way because I have used this company for many years by setting up appointments or walking in. Fortunately, I was told that I was due to a stimulus that I never receive, which I was glad to hear. However, H&R Block took half of the stimulus check without informing me that I could save money by doing it online. I have been so disappointed. Because of the pandemic, my wife and I dropped off our paperwork for our taxes to be filed, 2.5 weeks of waiting to hear back, and we call to find out that they had a few questions but had never reached out. Sent in the form in which they required, and gave them another week still without any contact. I recently had H&R Block do my tax returns which was a simple short form. I was charged $220 for this service which I thought was a bit costly. I spoke to an ex employee of H&R Block about this and I was told I should have been charged $169. Next year I will look for someone else to do my taxes.
