Meeting with Dr Hawthorne was God's divine intervention to avert blindness and she has been taking care of my eyes for some time now. As a diabetic patient, the diagnosis she had on my eyes revealed a looming danger and I immediately realized the need to save my sight as she advised. She is very homely, humane, passionate and attended to me as a sister.

Dr Kelly is who treats me. I couldn't allow anyone else to work with my eyes. He performed surgery on both eyes. Took out and replaced the lenses and put little stints in to help with my Glaucoma. I feel as if he gave me a brand new pair of eyes. He's very caring, sociable and very knowledgeable. Thank you Dr. Scott Kelly. I have and will continue to refer people there. And all the workers there are very kind and curtious as well.
Howerton Eye Clinic is amazing. My husband was legally blind in one eye and could not see out of the other. He does not even need glasses for reading or driving now! Everybody is so so nice. The clinic sees people from all walks of life. They treat each person with respect and are so kind and make the process so comfortable. We give Howerton Clinic 5 stars!
I was very pleased with Dr. Hawthorne. She was cheerful, and informative about my eyes. I will be 89 this month and there was no problem in my eyes, and I dont even wear glasses except "cheaters" to read. I will return to Howerton Eye Clinic in a year for another check up! I was so happy that SOMETHING about me is holding up well!!!

Dr. Hawthorne has been taking care of my eyes through the past 14 months. I came in with problems with my cornea and she diagnosed me immediately and has put me on a regiment that over the past year has healed my eyes to the point I was now a candidate for a PRK surgery (another version of lasik). I've never in my 30 years considered any laser surgery bc I've never trusted anyone so much to let them put a laser to my eyeball.
