I had a cataract fixed with Dr. Howerton some time back. About 3 yrs after the lens began to fail, the little feet that hold it in place broke. This began to cause major eye damage and is currently sitting in the front of my eye and basically leaving me blind in that eye. I've had several consults with the Dr's since and all say oh well, need to pay for another surgery. This is not only unprofessional but un ethical. Dr. Hawthorne is the BEST Ophthalmologist. She is very intelligent, caring, and has a sunny personality. After admission to the hospital via the emergency room, she diagnosed my condition when no one else was able to. She has performed surgery on both eyes and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Hawthorne.
