We bring our relatives here anytime someone new to the area comes to visit. One of our favorite places. Can be busy in the summer, but where isn’t?

I cannot not express our appreciation for your staff, From the folks at the motel sign in that was great, The Motel manager that made a special trip by to make sure everyone was happy with our rooms before she left for the day. The folks at the cave were just over the top helpful and friendly. Thank you Howe Cavern for such a special event. Charles Moore PO Box 607 Dinwiddie, Virginia 23841

Bought season passes for my two children for Christmas. When we came today, we were told that not everything is working and I can either get the passes as is or try to get refund. So I can turn my kids around after driving here or get the passes and take what they have (which could be nothing on any given day). Of the three attractions running, the H2ogo ball does not have the working equipment to bring riders up the hill. It appears that management is not keeping up with the equipment, and not appropriately staffing their a... read more

Kind of disappointed. We pay to see the cave and yet are rushed through by the tour guide. Our tour guide, Ashley was her name, was unbelievably rude. She kept yelling at the group to stop talking and that we were annoying. When nobody wanted photos, she said “that’s your problem you don’t have memories.” After the boat ride, we were literally running back and couldn’t even take a second to enjoy anything. She didn’t even seem like she enjoyed her job which made for a not very enjoyable tour.

Took 3 of my grandchildren, aged 11 and 19, and my daughter. The cavern was very nice. Our guide professional and informative. We didn’t wait in any lines at all. The grandchildren also did the zip line which was too short, and pretty lame. The rock wall climb just a tad challenging. We were unaware the rope challenge was open. Surprised we had to pay $2 for parking. Each activity you participate in is a separate charge. Felt it was nickel and diming paying participants. They should offer combination packages. Their on premi... read more

I took my kids 7 and 16 to Howes Caverns. We got there at 4pm. It closes at 6pm. I didn't think we would be able to go on tour. They were not crowded. We only waited 10 mins. Perfect timing. Our tour guide Jeff was awesome. Kept the groups interest the whole time. Kids loved his humor. We were moving quite fast but still interesting. Food was good. Pictures were good and affordable $9. Prices were affordable for a natural event. The introduction was a bit corny. Good for kids.
