Howe caverns is the most astounding phenomenon I have ever encountered in my entire life. I would go back to this underground oasis in a heart beat. The experience is like no other, the walk through alone is just breath taking, astonishing. Also, the boat ride is a wonder trip of its own. I highly recommend taking the drive if it’s not to extensive on your family and friends. My wife and I decided to take a day trip from Massachusetts and I would make the trip anytime.

I went with my dad for some bonding time and we both had an absolute blast. Jeff was our tour guide and he was really nice, very knowledgeable, made every part of the tour fun and interesting and kept the whole experience start to finish really enjoyable. We ended up wishing we had done the lantern tour so we will definitely have to come back!
Amazing and unique experience
the classic tour...old but good. years ago the guide would shut off the lights for a couple of minutes so one could experience absolute darkness. I wish that could still be done. otherwise, knowledgeable guides, nice trip. a few more picnic tables would be good...a couple of camps had taken all of them, and the parking lot attendant had no ideas for where else we could go.
5 stars Howe Caverns is a great day trip destination for the entire family to truly enjoy. Everything you need is there, including affordable meals, a clean/comfortable place to stay overnight, GORGEOUS views and very friendly staff! Good memories easily made!
We loved the cavern tour!! It was our first time. We got there at 11:00 and didn’t have to wait.

Totally fascinating! Especially enjoyed the Winding Way. Also, because we were on the first tour of the day, the guides were able to turn off the lights at the end of the boat ride so we could experience total darkness. Wow!
