There’s a ribeye signature dish, marinated with pineapple. Can’t miss it. I like it medium rare and it’s one of the best ribeye ever. Must try. Service above expectations. It’s a must dine each time I’m back in Dallas.

I came in on Wednesday night 3/21/2018 to the Houston's on Beltline in Dallas/Addison, TX; where I am a Saturday or Sunday lunch regular. I have been a customer for over 20 years and I don't like that it is no longer an option to get the Ribeye not marinated (if you have it). When I went in, the manager that night did not even look...they just immediately said "No." I know you want people to try the menu item as is...but I have had it Hawaiian and I don't like the sweetness so instead of getting $38 from me, you got $17....$... read more
It was my favorite but the last 3 times the prime rib has been mediocre at best. The fries were cold and their policy of no reservations or call ahead is annoying.
I have been to this location many times and this is the first time I have been disappointed in the quality of beef I was served. I ordered The Hawaiian Ribeye and the flavor was great. My steak was cooked medium (the way I ordered). There was an excessive amount of fat and tendon in my cut of beef. Another person in my party ordered the same steak and about 1/3 of her steak was fat. She tried to cut the fat off but the tendon was attached and the waiter had to use some muscle to de-attach it. I am so disappointed to hear that Houston’s, a LONG time favorite of mine, now seems to be against children and families. Adopting a ‘bring your own highchair’ policy and disbanding the children’s menu makes it pretty clear that they don’t want children in their restaurant. No problem Houston’s, you won’t have to “deal” with my family as customers anymore. I’m disgusted to hear this news and will not be back - I’ll make sure to let everyone in my moms group know as well that they aren’t welcome here.
favorite for 30 years or so. love the artichokes when available (they were not yesterday). Only bummer, leave the favorites alone! The grilled salmon is now "pan roasted". The original couscous has changed too. Haven't found the red beans and rice soup unless it's on Mondays only. Service this time was not very good which was surprising. They were not packed (we went at 3:00pm after the crowds) and the waitress barely checked on us. Always incredible. We have come here for a number of years for special occasions and the food, service and atmosphere are the best.
We had a wonderful waitress named Liz who did us great service and very professional. The wine, food, service and atmosphere was perfect! We were celebrating our 21 year anniversary.
