The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the service was superb.

Buyers beware. I have a very dear friend that visits this establishment monthly. Spent $5000 last year and brings clients and visits by himself. Recently he visited by himself and was accosted by 2 different couples about being gay and having noticed him during previous visits. I’m sick. No words for the obnoxious behavior of these 60 year olds. Plus the brand - Houston’s asked him to suck it up and leave. Gross.
I got engaged 3 years ago here and they did a great job. Everything came out great ! 3 years later I’m back and everything was perfect !
Went on a Wednesday night and it was packed, the food was excellent and the service was as well. Which is why it was packed I'm guessing. The best old fashioned I have ever had ... seriously.

I’ve been going to Houston’s since the 80’s. For the most part some of the food is the same, which is what brings me back. Don’t change things. No, your menu does not need to be updated or changed. It is a huge success because you didn’t change things. So revert some things back to the way they used to be and it will be even better. It is my favorite place in town.
Now if only the Hillstone Group will put a Houston’s in San Diego!!!! This is a great restaurant. Quality food and service, love the artichokes, and the chicken strip platter with their honey mustard dressing. If you have room, the sundae is amazing! 😍
