We went to WVU for a visit and stayed at the Ramada. Aside from the carpet being severely stained, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was AWESOME!! Great water pressure in the shower also. The employees were always smiling and eager to help. We only had a 5 minute drive to major restaurants and shopping. I will definitely stay there again.
The reviews here are very mixed and from my many experiences at this hotel the difference is the building you stay in. The hotel is comprised of several buildings and they are of various ages. When booking, either book a suite or specifically request one of the newer buildings. Have a great time!
If you are looking for a five star hotel this isn't the place for you, but if you are looking for a great bargain as you are passing through Morgantown you should check this out. The rooms have not been updated in quite sometime, but they are not run down. Your room includes a nice breakfast, and there were restaurants close by. It is also very convenient to the University, and the staff was very nice. I wouldn't spend our whole vacation at this hotel, but for 1 night just passing through it was perfect. Great bargain!
We stayed at Quality Inn in Morgantown over family weekend for WVU. The people working there are terrific. Check in was very smooth and pleasant (included coffee & homemade cookies). The rooms are a bit tired but clean. The few maintenance issues we had were handled quickly and pleasantly. We had to insist that the maintenance man accept a tip (he was very hard working). This hotel was affordable and the staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy for a one night overnight stay. Would deff reccommend to others looking for a clean comfy place to relax. Had movie channels and was relaxing to sit in and watch a movie after a longggggg road trip!

I came for a concert and the hotel was in walking distance. They now have a fitness center and were repainting one of the suites.This hotel is a good value for the price.
