The Perfect Romantic Getaway – We took a weekend getaway at the Hotel Lucia and purchased one of their romance packages. We were completely blown away by this hotel. For a 3 star hotel, we had a four star room and four star service. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Perfect Weekend Getaway – I loved this hotel. Very friendly and very COOL photography throughout...The rooms are cozy and the beds feel like the Heavenly Beds from the Westin. Can't go wrong there. They have a awesome bar located in the lobby called Bo's. Great Martinis and informed staff to guide you with the night life in Portland. The location is right in downtown Portland with access to shopping and high end restaurants. It's a must!!!
Best airport hotel ever! – My boyfriend and I like to fly out of Nashville to save money, so we needed a place to crash the night before our flight. We saw the hotel from the interstate and decided to give it a try. The girls at the front desk were so welcoming, and they told us about this package where we can leave our car at their hotel for only $5 a night to avoid paying the crazy parking prices at the airport. Comfortable luxury – I love Hotel Lucia! I was on a road trip from LA with my 3 year old daughter, my friend, and my two dogs. We camped one night in the redwood forest and drove all day arriving in portland fairly late. I really wanted a nice hotel to stay in, to recoop from the camping thing. Great! CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, LOVED IT! – I personally enjoyed this hotel. My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary because it was near Silverados. The lobby was nice, the room was spectacularly clean, the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in (including my own). Look elsewhere, first time staying here and was disappointed, the website painted a different picture than my actual experience. – The best offering of this hotel are the beds and newly remodeled rooms and that's about it. The location is not convienient and directions somewhat confusing. The pool is your typical rectangular shape and is small in size. Historic old Portland disapointing – My husband and I booked a Jr. Suite in this historic Portland landmark for my 50 BD 2 months in advance. When we called to confirm reservations (the day of arrival) they said they gave us a "complimentry king room upgrade". The "complimentry room upgrade" was anything but that, no fireplace and only a bed not a suite! One of the coolest hotels I've stayed in...and affordable! – Great hotel if you are traveling from another larger urban center. Service was fantastic. Amenities very modern, cool lobby with attached bar. Deluxe room could be tight if you are used to space, but fine for one person for a couple of days. Upgrade to a better room for more space. It's great for a young, hip, "W" vibe, but more boutiquey...with a Portland vibe. Definitely recommend.
A great hotel and top notch service... – I must say this is a very nice hotel. It has a very historic feel to it without it being creepy, just elegant. I stayed in the Penthouse Terrace Suite with my girlfriend and it was very memorable and romantic. And don't let the word penthouse and suite scare you.
