I attended an event at Gaythering during Art Basel week on December 9th. To show my support, I bought two pieces from Artist Jonathan Kent Adams. To my surprise, I received a refund of my payment under the pretense I didn't pick-up the pieces. I am a collector and have my own gallery at the Design District. Super hotel! Best staff, always ready to help out. The hotel is a focal point for the local community which means there is always something fun going on, nice events and the bar is the best gay bar on the island. Must stay!
One of the worst hotel staff I have every stayed at!! I’m in Miami bi-weekly generally and a few of the staff members are super rude. The sauna or showers in the rooms are always broken/ there’s no compensation for any of it. And if something is not put in your room like sheets or a blanket don’t ask for it they will not accommodate you and treat you like a liar!! Don’t stay here unless you’re forced to!! I’ll never be back!! This is one of the worse hotels in Miami and Florida!!
Art GAYSEL was a fun art exhibition. Alex and the staff of Hotel Gaythering are such an asset to our Gay community.
