The food mediocre at best. Luke warm. & Not as flavorful as I remembered!
Use to be amazing with surprise wing flavoring on Wednesday with their signature twice fried and different ramen every Monday. Now it's the same thing every night. Nobody wants to eat the same thing every time :/ the caramel wing are fantastic but not every Wednesday fantastic. Thanks for the inspiration!

Visiting from out of town and gave Hot Joy a try; this is a MUST eat at place in San Antonio. The variety of flavors and service are great.
Fusion food. Amazing atmosphere. I'm all about the twice fried wings and ramen. They have this new pork shoulder pad Thai. My new favorite. You HAVE to try it!
It was my husband and my first time to hot joy. The food and dessert was so delicious. Our waiter, Austin, was beyond amazing and made us feel so comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
BEST WINGS EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know how people can even talk bad about it... I'm in love with everything there ! Service is great too
Waited 5 minutes for a host to appear, but had a nice semiprivate booth with interesting decor seemingly out of 1920's Shanghai. Music rather eclectic and a bit loud for the space. Interesting food choices. The chicken confit tacos were delicious and reasonably priced. The roasted corn was very tasty if a bit too buttery. Service was adequate. Waitstaff did ask us several times if we had questions, and that was appreciated.
