Good beer selection and cocktails. Crazy good double fried chicken wings. Great flavors on the dumplings and oh so spicy noodles! This was a surprise hit for me. I did ignore the subtle southwest fusion items though, and I'm still not sure what crab or scallop fat entails!

At first I was hesitant to eat here with two little kids. (They only have one high chair. ) However the service was amazing and the food is something else! This is a definite most go to place in San Antonio.

First time here at HOT JOY and it will not be the last. The spicy pork tacos were amazingly good; The perfect marriage of favors. The twice fried peanut wings wow wow wow.... Sweet, spicy, great caramelization. The flavor of the wings were out of this world. The shrimp chips were ok I wouldn't order them again. The drinks were very organic and also very tasteful. Sam our waitress was a sweet heart, very kind and professional. We truly recommend this place!

Food was mediocre and overpriced. Service was terrible. The environment is nice and cool decors, thats about it. Not worth the money!

I had the dry fried green beans, twice fried chicken, dirty fried rice. It was AWESOME! I love the decorations and service was average.

Before visiting San Antonio, I read great things about Hot Joy in Bon Appetit magazine's 2014 Top New Restaurants in America. Very glad with the decision to check it out. The smashed cucumbers was a huge hit with my wife and I really enjoyed the migas fried rice. The cocktails were different from the usual and refreshing. Sadly we didn't try many of the other items off your menu, but that will be for next time. Wish you the best of continued success and hopefully another visit soon.
