Hot joy was sick. G was our waitress and Amanda was our bartender and they could not have been cooler or more welcoming. Such a dope spot- cool decor but still super comfortable...
Actually sitting here now. I had high hopes. Wings were ok, with some soy sauce to help. Ramen was not good. Tasted like the 10 for $1.00 packs you get at a grocery store. Disappointed.
Ordered take out, they said 20-25 minutes. AN HOUR LATER. Bull shit. Fucking tell us the truth. Do you mean to say that if we went and dined in, I would have to wait that long?? Stupid ass people.
Saturday night was my second experience with Hot Joy, the first was very impressive. Obviously enough to go back a second time. However, the second time was not a pleasant experience. The group I was with had to wait 30 minutes for a table which was fine because we hung out at the bar but once we got at we had to wait 20 minutes for our server. The hostess had to bring us water. Tried three times. It is so loud that you must scream at the server. Only once were we able to get to the appetizers which were mediocre.
Waited over 20 minutes to be greeted and even had to get up and ask the hostess what was going on twice. When the server finally came, she didn't even apologize for the long wait. We ordered drinks from the bar and literally did not get it until after we were done with our meal! That's right... Our food came out and we finished it all before we got our drink.
