The wait was long but it was worth it!!! The food was phenomenal and the service was full of laughs. Can't wait to go again
I had the rice bowl, and the kimchi in it was unbearable. I've never known kimchi to be that salty. Then they brought my food out a full 10 minutes before my wife's. I don't know about you, but it's disrespectful to eat food before your significant other. Needless to say, my food wasn't hot when I finally got to eat it. My wife's ramen was mediocre at best. I won't be going back. The only thing that saved this place from a one star was the ambience.
Really great atmosphere and polite, great and attentive staff I love the strong drinks and tasty food plus they are open later and sun-thurs all food items are half price!! Highly recommend this place if you and your friends wanna chill place to hang out and have fun. 😊
Loved this place great food, good drinks and excellent date night spot
Food & services incredible. But they didn't have the tator tots, I've literally waited almost a year to go back. Was extremely disappointed that no type of potato dish is on the menu. But the tots are the best thing there, so it was sad that they didn't have it.
I've been to Hot Joy a handful of times and have only had poor service once, EXCELLENT service once, and very basic service every other time which is fine and doesn't detract from the experience. The food and drinks have always been amazing although I'm super disappointed they pulled the "lime and coconut." This is a cool, family style Asian fusion restaurant - emphasis on family style. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff but the food was terrible. Chicken wings with lemon curry should have been called chicken wings with SALT - lots of salt. Korean BBQ wings were edible but nothing to write home about and the double cooked wings - I would not recommend. Mixed drinks: "Cocoanut something or other"and the one called "Revenge whatever"were not to my liking (I sampled them from the other guests I was with). The Modelo was perfect though.
