This place sucks. The a/c is not working and the hostess can't get a order right. I can't stand eating in a hot building place.
Went to Hot Joy on a Thursday night around 8:30pm and were immediately greeted by the hostess. There would be a 20 minute wait but there happened to be room at the bar and before we knew it we were seated. Service was great and the twice baked chicken wings (caramel) were one of the best I've ever had if not the best. The pineapple gauva mule was yummy too! The whole atmosphere and ambience was great and would highly recommend visiting Hot Joy!
Horrible service. My boyfriend got his food 15 mins after everyone else, and he had chicken fired rice. The waiter was disappeared constantly, and had a hideous attitude... goes for all the staff, none of them seem to have a care for their tables or customers. #disappointment
Everything was excellent! Our server was Francis and she was great, very attentive but not overwhelming. We had the twice-fried chicken wings, double miso ramen, and shrimp dumplings. Great evening!
We have been a few times, Ramen Monday is great the ramen is delicious, along with the twice fried wings so tasty, we went back for 1/2 price food after 10:30p.m. though and the hostess was rude and told us there was a 30 minute wait because there was only 1 waitress and proceeded to ask if we wanted to wait,a little discouraging when such an awesome deal is being offered but I don't even think we waited 10 minutes our waitress Mya was very nice though and because of her we had a great dining experience

Awesome service, great food and a cool modern Japanese look.
Great! Wait was a little long but so worth it! Had the crabfat wings since I have heard good things and they lived up to the hype! Also had the tofu steam buns and Hot Joy Rice Bowl. Everything was delicious and the service was fantastic! Would love to go again!
