Hospice of West Alabama has been providing care to terminally ill patients and their families since 1982. We are a 501(c)(3) private non-profit organization, a United Way Partner Agency, and a Joint Commission accredited hospice provider. We care for terminally ill patients in Bibb, Greene, Hale, Fayette, Lamar, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa counties, and we have the only stand-alone hospice inpatient facility in West Alabama.

It's not the best circumstances when you have to put your loved ones in hospice but I must say that the staff makes your experience the best it can be. These people are such a blessing!
What a blessing Hospice of West Alabama is to our community. Amazing staff and I am proud to be one of their volunteers.
This place is an absolute blessing to our family. We are here with our Mother, and she has received the absolute BEST care you can imagine! The facility is very nice nothing like a hospital setting. It's as close to being in your home as possible. The staff have been very attentive, caring & just amazing. I will recommended & tell as many as I can about this facility going forward. My family is truly grateful to each every person here!
I can't thank hospice enough for all they do for our mom. Everyone has been so amazing and so sweet. Thank you all so much. They truly are a blessing. �
First I must say thanks to the staff, they take time out to talk with you about your love one, and the care they give is outstanding, all in all I'm very Pleased with the care and attention they give to their Patient's, and family members, THANK YOU.
The closest thing I've ever found to Heaven here on earth. We are blessed to have these angels in human form to take care of our loved ones and to be there to love on us, cry with us and comfort us as well.
