Dr. Horton is the absolute BEST. Not only does she know her craft and continue to improve it regularly, but she is kind and compassionate and truly cares about her patients and their health and well being. The world needs more Dr. Hortons! If I'm having a problem, she always takes time to make sure she understands what is happening and does her best to find a solution. I had major issues due to previous RK surgery that my Austin doctors never recognized. She diagnosed the problem immediately.
Always professional, accomodating and considerate. I have been a patient for a number of years and trust her recomendations and have never had a problem with my prescriptions.
I have been seeing Dr. Horton for a number of yrs. I appreciate her professionalism and ability to explain my diagnosis and options for treatment in terms she knows I understand. As a retired RN I highly recommend her.
This was the first time seeing Dr. Horton, I have never had the Dr. actually do my exam it has always been a tech. then the Dr. comes in tells me the results and out I go. She actually did the entire exam, sat and explained the results, ( I have been a Insulin dependent Diabetic for many years and have had vision changes, she discovered a cataract that I have apparently had for several years and this was the first I had ever heard of it. She sat and spoke to me, explained things, didn't rush!
Wonderful and committed doctor to her patients. She spends as much time as necessary on each patient, so don't be surprised if you're not seen at your appointment time.
