This trendy spot across from Chastain Park has won rave reviews from locals and from critics as respected as those at Gourmet magazine. Set in a rustic old home that feels more like a mountain lodge, the restaurant features a small bar near the entrance and an enclosed, very romantic patio. The menu of forward-thinking regional cuisine includes such innovative recipes as the sauteed spicy Gulf shrimp with Logan Turnpike grits, as well as Southern classics like homemade sausage in cream gravy with biscuits.

Wonderful Dinner Spot – Horseradish Grill is a top notch restaurant. All of the food was amazing, from the fried green tomatoes and North Carolina barbeque for appetizers, to the honey glazed duck for dinner. The dessert was especially delicious: the Kentucky spice cake is to die for. Complimented with a great wine list and impeccable service, we had such a great night here!
Best lunch in town - – great folks - steve is back - best bbq you can get with cushioned seats! great wines - too! i will be back for dinner soon!
This is a "must try" restaurant!!!! – One must simply try this restaurant. Service from attractive waiters, great food and very reasonable prices. What more could a girl ask for?! How about some soft buttermilk biscuits as bread for the table. The servings are big! A little noisey at lunch time but a great place I am sure in the evening for a romantic date. Beautiful wood interior with provides one of a warm dining experience. A slight "con" occured but still it was not enough to dim my enthusiasm. I was with a big group so ... read more
Total disaster, but still will go back someday – Seated right away, our waiter was excellent. So far, so good right? Wrong! We ordered our meals and bottle of wine. Waiter came back and told my husband that his fish entree & wine ordered are not available. He joins me in ordering tuna - rare. Mine came out cooked perfectly. His was WELL DONE. He sent it back, again the waiter is apologetic. The manager now comes to the table profusely apologetic stating they are now out of tuna. In anger, I stated that our meal was officiall... read more
Must try! – I have had some of my best Atlanta dining experiences here! I have attended a company party at this restaurant, celebrated a friend's b-day at this restaurant, and was taken on a date there, as well. All were fantastic experiences! The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The food was wonderful. I highly recommend the venison. The spice cake was incredible! I did make the mistake of going here on the same night as a Chastain concert. It was very crowded and we were seated late, so if you go in the summer, ma... read more
Wow! – I love Horseradish Grill! The ambience is very warm and cozy. Our server was very attentive and right on time! The food was excellent. This is one of my "top 5" faves of Atlanta. Try the pecan crusted goat cheese salad and the filet. It was cooked to perfection! The trout and the honey fried quail are awesome, too. I've eaten here on a date and attended a company party here. Both were a perfect 10!
Consistently good food and service – One of Atlanta's best restaurants, combining a rustic atmosphere with a touch of elegance, consistently good food and service. We have never been disappointed here.
Worst Service in Atlanta – This was the worst service I've had in Atlanta. They brought my entree out while I was in the middle of my salad, and never asked if we wanted dessert. Very disappointing.
Upscale Southern fare served in a rehabbed horse stable keeps the country-club set satisfied. – The Scene Located on the edge of Chastain Park, the restaurant is full of rustic charm. A peaked roof and exposed timbers make the dining room feel distinctly barn-like, but oversized booths, a working fireplace, warm lighting and Oriental rugs give the space cozy appeal. Expect to dine with older couples, families and groups of middle-aged ladies enjoying a girls' night out. Service is friendly, deferential and unobtrusive. The F... read more
