This trendy spot across from Chastain Park has won rave reviews from locals and from critics as respected as those at Gourmet magazine. Set in a rustic old home that feels more like a mountain lodge, the restaurant features a small bar near the entrance and an enclosed, very romantic patio. The menu of forward-thinking regional cuisine includes such innovative recipes as the sauteed spicy Gulf shrimp with Logan Turnpike grits, as well as Southern classics like homemade sausage in cream gravy with biscuits.

good foof – The food was serve well.. and the service was superb ! They were very accommodating and courteous. Keep it up !
Wonderful service – We visited this place few weeks back and we were not delighted during our stay there. The food they served was not outstanding. It was not bad but it was not exceptional neither. It's just the type that you can easily get from any other ordinary restaurant. The service was good though and staff was accommodating.
Always consistently good – Every time i have been to Horseradish, the food is solid. Not going to knock your socks off, but very good. And the atmosphere is warm and friendly. I def. recommend.
Overpriced, inedible – Will not go back. Country steak needed hacksaw to cut. Potatoes were greasy. Corned beef hash recipe was not normal. Tasted greasy and corned beef chewy Shrimp were chewy. Biscuits fell apart. Horrible experience.
not consistant – I especially went to Horseradish Grill to have the shrimp and gritts that I always order. They are usually great. Last night, I sent the small (which were to be jumbo) shrimp back because they tasted like rubber. The waiter kindly, sent them back and brought another round. The second round was far worse. The rubber texture from over cooking was not the standard I have experienced over the years. I was really disappointed since I chose the restaurant and wanted to show my date, a great place to dine.
Long Time Favorite – Horseradish Grill has a strange name because I've never seen any horseradish on the menu, but this is an incredible place for gourmet southern food. I love the mini bisquits with peach jam.
Wonderful! – Our "party of 4" had a wonderful dinner experience this past weekend. We were quickly seated and our waiter was wonderful. The appetizers/wine/dinner...all fantastic!!! Beautiful location too!!!
Great evening! – Dined last night after hearing about the Horseradish for a long time. I enjoyed the chopped salad and ordered the venison due to the waitress recommendation. The salad was good and my venizon was tremendous. I have only tried it once prior and would order it again. The atmosphere is very nice and I will be back for special event type dinners. Also, the staff was highly professional.
Best Dining Experience in Atlanta – Last evening was our anniversary and our first visit to the Horseradish Grill. It had been recommended to us by my step-daughter. By far this was our best dining experience since relocating to Atlanta in 1993. The food, drinks, wine selection and wait staff were all excellent. My wife started with muscles in white wine sauce. I generally do not care for shell fish but these were excellent, this was followed by a port wine poached pear salad and finally lamb chops. I started with pulled por... read more
